Pendle Forest Orienteers Regional Event
To round of a successful autumn season of events, Olivia, 7YB finished in first place on the Yellow Course at the PFO Regional Event, in a time of 22 mins 23 secs. Battling against strong winds and freezing temperatures, Olivia navigated the 2.0 km course over open moorland in the vicinity of Darwen Tower. This is the first time Olivia has competed solo in open terrain which she found quite challenging but enjoyable nevertheless. Her result at Darwen Moor means she has now gained her Yellow Standard badge after only three events. Well done Olivia!
