The school’s parent portal provides parents with much of the information previously found on RM Learning Platform.
An account is normally created for all parents who have legal parental responsibility for a current student but see below about the need for an email address.
When online, parents will have access to much of the information we hold about your child. Topics included are attendance, assessment, behaviour, achievement, contact details and timetables (including examination timetables).
To reassure those who may have security concerns, the school is using a globally recognised method of ‘SSL certificate encryption’. This ensures that your child’s data is kept safe during transit and that it can only be accessed by the computer logged onto the portal. However, it is still vitally important that parent portal login details are kept secure around the home to ensure that when school is contacted by your account, to change a telephone number for example, we can be sure it is the account holder making the contact.
If you wish to use the portal it is essential for you to have access to email and for your email address to be communicated to school. If you think the email address we hold is likely to be obsolete, or you are not sure if we have an email address for you, please contact us as soon as possible with up-to-date details.
All eligible parents have now been issued with account details so, if you are still without, please contact the school using one of the contact methods on the school’s website.
